Well it wasn't his fault. They'd been exploring the Witch's lair for hours and when they'd finally stumbled upon a room with things in it, it was food of all things. Even if they didn't need the food, the temptation was too great. And now they were running, from the Witch, following the path on the map that Phylus had so brillaintly prepared. The witch's lair was like a complex puzzle, but with their skills combined they weren't having any problems at all with it.
They were just having problems with running from the witch. Neither Avispa nor Phylus wanted to turn around and fight when death was so close on their heels. This was about surviving.
"Throw the food, yes!"
...and throw the food Phylus did, and lodged in the Witch's nose did it become. As tempting as it was to laugh, they both spun around and with a sudden branch-skull combo attack the Witch burst into thousands of itty bitty candies.
